Ho Hum, men’s Cross Country wins 29th consecutive MAAC title. Women are no slouches with 4th MAAC title in a row.
The men were so dominant that you could disqualify Iona’s top five finishers, which were also the top five finishers in the race; and Iona’s next five still take home the title. Back to our top five - all five finished within a second of each other. The Sienna kid at sixth was seven seconds behind our fifth place finisher.

No reason for concern. Finished third on a road course because of 11 inches of snow in Buffalo. Means they don't get an automatic bid to NCAA finals. They will get an at-large. Ranked 8th in the nation, ahead of Syracuse and Harvard, who beat them in regional. Very good chance to finish in top 10 if not better for the finals!

Hope mid-major bias has no impact. They deserve to be there.

A new runner, Johnjack Millar was our top finisher (24th, I believe). Need to bring in a couple of elite runners, in order to crack the Top Ten. That aside, another great year for the X-C team. Still among the nation's elite. Congrats to all.

Still among the nation's elite. Congrats to all. JohnJack was 26th. This was a hard race to figure out. Must be a tough course. Times were slow, JohnJack is not our Number 1, but had a great run. Overall, I thought we would finish higher, but 12th is probably about right and still a great finish. BYU won the meet in a pretty big upset. Northern Arizona was once again loaded, but was only able to finish 2nd. Congrats to Gaels. Oh, Egle Morenaite on the Women's side finished 24th for the Gaels.

A picture of the runners during the race showed them covered with mud. Course must have been sloppy, contributing to the slow times recorded. And if Millar wasn't our #1 runner, I'm not sure we had a true #1. All I know is that we need a couple of top runners, if we want to have a shot at the Top Ten.
