Local GAMEOFTHEDAY, St. John's travels to Rose Hill to play Fordham, with Tau in attedence. Will the Johnnies bounce back from their home loss to St. Bonaventure? Will the Rams get the "signature win" they crave?
I will be at the Rhode Island Quinny game, which I think will be a dandy.

Oh boy, Fordham beats SJU at Rose Hill 84-81. Must have been a late run as I saw the Johnnies up 12 with a few minutes to go. Hey Lavin, how's the return to coaching thing going?

NW beats LIU 81-65. Too bad, would've been nice for them to get a Big Ten scalp, even if it is Northwestern.

HN moved into a tie with Iona and FF for most wins (by a MAAC school) in Albany County, with a 72-69 win over Florida Atlantic. The Gaels will look to break the tie on January 3rd. RR had 27 points and CJ had 20. That's 47 out of a total of 72 points. How bad is Siena going to be next season? I'll say that the Pig is a given, but can they escape the cellar?

IC59...Listened to the Siena game....They had a 15 point lead with about 5 minutes left in the game....Florida At. put on the press and by my count the Siena guards had 5 turnovers during that time in trying to bring up the ball...They have big problems with less then speedy and ball handleing guards. Flor. Atlantic ran out of time as a last second three for the tie bounced off the rim..Mike Jarvis who contested calls all night went wild as he thought the shooter was fouled.. I rooted for Siena as I root for all MAAC teams, but they did not look good even in victory....
Go Gaels!!!!!!

I listened to the game also Oldtimer, and I agree their guard play has to be a concern for them, when the heat was on Downey forgot what team he was on; as he became quite an asset for Fla. Atlantic.

Local GAMESOFTHENIGHT
Holiday festival time as Northwestern comes in to play St. Francis of Brooklyn, and Davidson plays St. Chicken. That line-up ought to bring 'em in, in droves.
