Local Game of the Night
Bill & Mary v. Hofstra. Hofstra with 17 wins could become soon the third 20 win team to have fallen victim to the Gaels this season.

Amazing Charles does it again; makes a 3 as time expires in OT to give Hofstra a 81-78 W. W # 18 for the Pride.

St. John's defeats Marquette on the road last night, with their record and RPI, I would have to consider them a lock for the tournament. Hardy has been playing lights out for them, he has to be gaining major consideration for the Hagarity award. Now lets hope the Gaels join them, and bring back some local excitement to the tournament.

LIU and Hofstra have 38 wins and we beat them both by a combined 31 points. Not bad.

If Hofstra wins two more games and we beat Fairfield at home, we will have had wins over four different 20 win teams this season. Too bad we slept on Vermont.

St. Johns is going to the Sweet 16 I wouldn't be surprised if they did, all depends on the draw, but they are capable of making some serious noise, I wouldn't rule out the elite eight if things break right for them.

Elite 8 is probably not going to happen, even sweet 16 may be a bit of a stretch as I don't think they are going to get a great seed. But don't read that as a knock. I went to the UCLA game and they were very impressive. Probably a player or two short, but Lavin has them playing well.

Lou, Syr, Mizz, Zona 7. WVa, Tenn, Temple, Mason 8. Wash, UCLA, Ill, ODU

If they get a 5 seed, they would have a great shot. If they fall to a 7 it's a different story altogether.

It's great to see the Garden alive again. With local fans too!

Well, another very impressive win. The question is now can anyone beat them at the Garden in the Big East tourney?
