Great video on Dylan Van Eyck. Goes into his background. Expecting a huge season from Van Eyck.

I know it's early but I have an observation/guess about our starting lineup and a couple of questions. First, I feel the following three guys will return and start, this year: 1. IW (PG) 2. AG (SG) 3. Dylan VanEyck (PF) That leaves the SF and Center positions and we have only videos to help us guess who will fill out our starting five. If you agree with the above three players as starters, what two players are you adding? And if you don't think that one or more of the above three will start, then add your replacement for that player or players. I know it's early and just a guess, but at least it's Iona BB.

Hope you are well my friend. Florida is opening up. Restaurants are packed. Visited Pensacola. Nice little gulf gem. I think the 2 spot will have a ton of action. DVE seems motivated and hungry but the newcomers will have something to prove as well. Best man wins!

Back in 1950, my oldest brother was stationed at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, and that was where he 'won' his wings and became a Navy Pilot. If my memory serves me well, he really liked the Naval base there.

Actually, I'm six out of nine.

Thought you were his much older brother because you seem to pick on him! 😉

jerseygael, I agree with you about Shema and Jeanlouis. And think that Chavez will be one of our best guards, and first guard off the bench. But I see him as a PG backing up IW and starting next year. I not only expect Asante Gist to start, but lead the team in scoring. P.S. Hoping to hear what others think.

Gotta start Gist, Ross, Jeanlouis, Van Eyck and either Shema or Brown, whoever's better.
I don't like starting freshmen, and this team is overflowing with them. For those who hated the Cluess approach, you've got your wish, with 5 frosh.
