I was. Left at the 8:00 mark in the 2nd half. Terrible effort. Two firsts for me this year: - Turned off a game early because of terrible effort (Marist) - Walked out of a game early because of terrible effort (Siena) Agee was atrocious in both games.

Agee has 75 turnovers and 74 field goals in 16 games. I know we don't have a head coach, but someone on the coaching staff should address this. Just to compare, in 2016 Jordan Washington in a full season had 78 turnovers and 233 fg's. At this point, forget the rest of the season focus on improving the guys that will be here next year, Agee Crawford Perez would should see a lot more bench time.

We are terrible, locked in between 9-11 seed. Mailhot should coach not Arnold. How can you not get Weiss in the game and why is Crawford in there that long with a bad back. One thing we have going for us is to promote playing time to incoming recruits.

Crawford has earned the right to play. Agee needs to be coached, and that isn’t happening this season.

I gave up at 34-19, about 11mins into the game, I saw that show too many times before. We don't play as a team. 5 guys out there doing what they want. zero leadership.

Against Doctor's orders, I bribed my brother to take me to the game. Watching that hot mess was more painful than the multiple surgeries I have had. 1st time I ever left a game early. I get how not having Cluess has hurt this team, but like Guy mentioned it's also lack of talent. Siena was clearly bigger and more athletic.

One thing we have going for us is to promote playing time to incoming recruits. Siena had their "walkons" in for about the last three minutes, and we wouldn't put ours in for a minute. Crawford played till the end, because the team was trying to get him an assist. Just didn't happen. Now on a two game streak without an assist. Agee grabbed four rebounds, with two coming near the end of the game. And he did keep his TO's under a half dozen, so there's that.

Agee was completely out of control, on and off the court. He speny more time yelling and cursing at his teammates, than fighting for rebounds. What teammate is going to listen to him when he pulls that immature shit staying away from the huddle? Play Van Eyck, and yes his game has gone backwards, all of Thiam's minutes (just not very good) and see what you you have in him for next season. I have always been a huge fan of Risto but after what I saw today he looked like a kid that has checked out. I am not sure if you just throw him out there 20mpg to see if he can contribute next year or just part ways. I agree with Joebird and would like to see Mailhot takeover, but I guess you can't show up Arnold by making that switch. I hope Cluess doesn't come back but instead just gets healthy and concentrates on recruiting. The thought that he can return and turn this team around is pure delusion. I will stop with my mini rant, but just really annoyed after putting in the effort to go support the team and they play like they don't give a shit

One thing we have going for us is to promote playing time to incoming recruits. When Mailhot filled in for Arnold against Monmouth, at least the team was engaged. Players cheering from the bench and everyone was involved in the team huddles. Tonight it appeared very indifferent. Looked like a rec league vibe.

I was also at the game. It was my first game since the renovations. Here are some of my thoughts about the whole experience: The Facilities:1) The HAC is way better than it looks on TV. I was very impressed. If they gave me the money they invested in the improvements and asked me to design it (with all the other limitations they had to deal with to get it done) I could not have done half the job they did. And this is coming from a megalomaniac who thinks I can do everything better. 2) The way things are being operated was also a huge improvement over any other period I can remember during my 47 years of following Iona hoops. The set up and operations are better than I could have hoped for. 3) I got to spend some time with a few of the powers that be. The program is in very good hands. I am very impressed with the quality of the people we are counting on to get the program where we all want it to be. I have had a very successful career putting together the right personnel to handle very difficult projects... I was impressed with the team we have in place. I believe that the effort they have been putting in will pay off very quickly and some very good things are in the works. 4) Across the board it has been a tough year... the perfect storm if you will... but if coach returns, we will be competing for MAAC championships. This is not the final destination for Iona hoops. The good days are not done... have some faith folks. Regarding the game:1) We are not as athletic as we usually are. 2) We do not play defense and the coaching adjustments are not being made to correct issues. 3) Leadership is lacking... Agee is always barking and correcting people but it seems like he was kicked in the balls every time a teammate tried to correct him over bad plays. Real leaders acknowledge mistakes and then try to avoid making the same mistakes again. 4) the team is slower than any Cluess team. 5) Siena has some good pieces in place. They are more athletic than Iona is... and they are far more disciplined. 6) We are getting killed off the boards yet Agee is handling the point and trying to back everyone in. That is illogical across the board. He is not DL with the ball in his hands. 7) IW needs to drive to the hoop more often and look to kick it out. He will open up everyone's game. 8) Outside shooting is horrible. I do not know how guys who could shoot 3's last season can't hit shit this season. 9) We all wanted bigger bodies... well we got them and they can't rebound. We are better off with a bunch of 6'6" guys that are athletic than 6'9" guys who can't get off the floor. 10) Too many missed bunnies and dumb passes. 11) Spacing sucked, movement away from the ball sucked and the ball movement was mostly a wasted effort. 12) The body language on some players was very telling. 13)Lots of issues for sure... but only one way we can go.

Thanks for the insight 86, if I have one piece of advice for the powers that be, we CANNOT start next season without a head coach again, even if it means brining in a interim etc. Plan now and plan accordingly.

Once again very disappointed with Tra Arnold. Pull this guy in favor of Mailhot the rest of the way jeez Louise he’s atrocious.
