I noticed this when I was writing out my check for the Sunday basket and knew there had to be a name for it.
Thanks for the enlightenment, I'm now good the next 101 years (12/12/2121).

Interesting learning: when you sign and date things now, don't just put "2/5/20" like you're used to with the last 2 digits of the current year because people can add digits and make whatever you're dating invalid. To clarify, if you write "2/5/20" on a document, someone could change it to "2/5/2021" and your document is invalid. So, write all 4 digits of the year, for this year only.
