Fitting ending [(Mark) Murphy's Law] to a season that never was.
It's now behind and what's done is done... let's get Coach Cluess back and start a new Drive for Five.

Those complaining about Arnold's technical should think again. I'd say that any one of us coaching that game would have gotten a technical. Two extremely bad calls just before the T. Agee was called for a charge when the defender was in the restricted area and moving. Crawford was called for a charge when his defender moved laterally into him near the top of the key. It was almost identical to Crawford's third foul the previous day. By contrast, it was "play on" when Crawford was mugged going to the basket for a shot. NCAA should ban refs from the games and allow the guys to sort it out like they do in pickup.

I believe the game came down to the Gaels failure to connect from the perimeter. Ross lost his magic touch. St Peters beat them 3 straight times this year in the final seconds... you have to tip your hat. I hope we can recruit more players like EJ & Agee.

Ensor got his "message" across to the refs and in one swoop eliminated his nemesis Iona and advanced his old school ST. Peters!

And for the first time in Years he was smiling after the game last night.

Could not agree more. Saw him sitting behind the St Peters bench. He is a disgrace and should be gone immediately.

I asked him why so happy? He laughed when I yelled " you got what u wanted"

I saw a few calls in addition to the ones you mentioned that were blatant mistakes and most certainly impacted the result of the game. However, Arnold needs to know the situation. Every single point and possession in a game is meaningful. Especially in a tournament game with only a few minutes left and points from the field are hard to come by. He hadn’t gotten a tech all year and for the most part didn’t bark at the refs to frequently. Last night was not the night to start. I say all that not knowing what he actually did or said to get the tech in the first place. So if the tech itself wasn’t warranted than i give him a pass. Otherwise if he was previously warned or was irate and he was deserving of T then he deserves the criticism

If your up by 30 with two minutes left, why complain at anything?

If your up by 30 with two minutes left, why complain at anything? Same reason you would complain in a close game, except the consequences of the complaints, are nonconsequential.
