Sad story, Dan Foley IONA class of 1995 died at age 46. Retired FDNY of 9/11 related Pancreatic cancer. Funeral out of Holy family church in New Ro. Leaves behind wife and 5 children. His brother, also FDNY, died on 9/11. Dan worked on the pile at ground zero. I did not know Dan, but hits close to home because I was at Iona during the same years and i worked the pile at ground zero for two days (9/12/2001 and 9/13/2001).
