I don't think we can assume if we hire Pitino that Grasso will be waiting in the wings for Pitino to leave. If we don't get Grasso now and in the next year or two he becomes a hot commodity, he's not waiting around for the Iona gig. Let’s not forget we had TC during the Grasso years. You can’t give Grasso this much credit

A few questions... How long is Jared's contract and is there a buyout requirement? If it's Pitino, does Willard give us a game? What happens with the Greek national team obligation? I get a sense that Willard only cares about Willard.

Simple choice to me... An easy argument can be made against Pitino - escort sex scandle, pay-for-play, Louisville having to vacate a national championship and a Final Four year. No easy argument can be made against Grasso. Thank God your nor the AD.!!

No easy argument can be made against Grasso. Thank God your nor the AD.!! Yes, my preference was Jared, but I'm onboard with Pitino. As mentioned in another thread, I root for the name on the front of the jersey regardless who's in it or coaching it because they're temporary. My point was baggage and to deny there isn't some past baggage is delusional. Hopefully, the past is where it remains.

Glad your on board because of coach Pitino your would of missed a lot of fun!!! He’s has the potential to bring the community, the program, the conference to places nobody could of dreamt. Most importantly as a leader of young men his former players love and respect him which is probably the biggest asset a coach can have. Unfortunately their are few saints that win coaching D-1basketball

He was canonized for the miracles he performed in Westchester.

Bryant's Melo Eggleston, a 6'8" SG/SF, is transferring. 3★ recruit that originally attended Wake, then transferred to Arkansas State and transferred to Bryant as a RS junior. Jared wasted a scholarship on this kid as he only played one game (total of 11 minutes) this past season, where he was injured.

They will have a very good team next year.

If Greg is correct, I'm guessing that this will be Jarred's last year at Bryant.
