Our last 14 high major games (Power 6 +American) dropped 13 straight. Important games yes, (recruiting, experience, $$) but we have been a punching bag in most of those games @ Colorado -45points @ UCONN -18points N North Carolina -15points @ Providence -12points N Duke -22points @ St. Johns -10points @ Syracuse -9points N Oregon -16points @ Florida St. -21points N Iowa St. -13points @ Tulsa -9points @ Oregon St. -20points @ Arkansas -17points @ Wake Forest +4points
I loved Cluess and he was great in the Maac and winning the tourney, but OOC games were not his strength, I think a Pitino coached team would win more than a couple of the above. That being said I think I’d rather have Cluess coach the Maac tourney.

cluess teams weren't made to play up, ruland days games were much closer
I70, I hear ya about no majors on the sked, but it's Pitino's scheduling philosophy that "caused" this, with a grander plan. I will say this--it'll be nice to actually see the team play home games in November and December. Just two road OOC games is incredible--it's thinking bigger.
i said i accept the schedule for this year so Pitino get start his reign, but being happy about it after all the talk is different, the hat being happy is different than agreeing with the philosophy can't picture the guy saying son"Let's go see the big Iona Morgan st game tomorrow" lol

adding 4 NCAA games is diifernt than buy games, where is LaSalle
so you would rather see Loyola Md at Iona than NC @ MSG?

This list, as stated above, are the high major games, NOT to be confused with buy games. We were bought by New Mexico, VCU, Lasalle etc they are not included. The last four NCAA tournament games were not buy games, but they were against high majors, they are included. This list is in response to the posting that stated
"I don't think people can be happy playing 0 majors this year never mind the home games" Secondly, I don't think playing Loyola in New Ro and UNC at MSG are NOT* mutually exclusive, scheduling Loyola does not prevent us from playing North Carolina. I would be in favor of both!

But you didn't get both all you got were bottom feeders at home and you are happy with exclusively bad games not both. So it actually did prevent us from playing high majors. Since when are NCAA games on the schedule, asking for a friend😚😊😜

I think that completes our non-conference(not including 3 games in Bahamas). 3 games against America East(Stony, Albany, Vermont) I think that is a good thing. Coach Cluess, IMO shied away from America East. (6 games in 10 years). The three teams we scheduled this year in the America East represent the best in that conference. They are good programs. The bottom of the America East, however make Marist look like a powerhouse.

Was there a date? So many ooc games we can see in person this year but will we be able to?
I know we have not had posts regarding who else is in the Bahamas tournament, so I did some digging. Can only confirm two opponents (will support with links), with a couple others rumored (again supported with links). There are other teams rumored but I cannot find any evidence of this. But obviously the field is not 100% set yet or it would have been announced by now.
Side note: the Drexel source also notes something else I'd heard (not sure if it was posted here), but if things "fall apart" in the Bahamas due to COVID, the event will move to Fort Myers, FL.
Here are a couple other RUMORED teams, with sources for those rumors. Again, I could not confirm 100% that these teams are in.

The greatest poster in the history of the MAAC as determined by THREE separate polls.

I heard Drexel as well, i also had heard they were looking for 2 more teams to participate. Last year the field was announced on 4/25, we are two months passed that already.
