He would actually have to go to class to keep playing Why the habit of taking a piece of someone's character as they go out the door?

Just wish him luck and hope he finds the right fit to prosper. If the academic issues are true, if he does not graduate from another institution, it could hurt our program. I will always be a fan of his and wish him nothing but success.
With that said, he is no longer here so we should stop discussing what could/should have been. Next man in...

Because that was the main problem with is team last year which no one believed when 4 or 5 of us were telling u Why they didn't listen to their coach Why they were chemistry issues Why there were practice issues Why they never came together Why everyone kept saying "This wouldn't have happened if Cluess was coaching" It was a poor character team where there was no strong leadership

Amazing insight to refer that the majority of the board didnt recognize these issues.. wow! Last year is over and as far as any of us should be concerned it really didnt even count for anything. Had Iona beat SPU, it was still over and they still crown Siena.. bc thats what our joke of a commish wanted to do to get Iona off the board. Lastly, i personally took shots at the team as a whole last year and was called out saying its wrong to criticize "young men." But i guess its Ok in some scenarios..

Well, it's relevant because Pitino emphasizes it more, and 3 kids are gone for that reason (among others). But yes, as the dust settles, it won't be a hot topic. Nobody on staff should be commenting on kids' academics. Who said they did?

I'm hoping we soon return to our previous practice about not commenting on kids' academics. Well, it's relevant because Pitino emphasizes it more, and 3 kids are gone for that reason (among others). But yes, as the dust settles, it won't be a hot topic. Am I missing something here fellows? These are "student athletes". If meeting a certain grade point average is a component of maintaining the earned scholarship, I don't see a reason to abstain from discussing. Is there a rule to not discuss or are we trying to not hurt the feelings of the player in question?
