A South Carolina question for Jim Maisano. A few years back we lost a recruit (Omar Minaya??) to SC. Just wondering how he did at SC? Minaya received a medical redshirt for his freshman season after a knee injury limited him to just five games. He played 22 games the following year after suffering a thumb injury on his shooting hand. Minaya missed just one game in his final season with the Gamecocks, averaging 7.0 points and a career-high 6.3 rebounds. In his career he has started all but four games when he was healthy. He transferred to Providence for this year.

86, thanks. As an aside, how do you think he would have done at Iona, injuries non withstanding?

86, thanks. As an aside, how do you think he would have done at Iona, injuries non withstanding? He is a very good player, high on court IQ and reported to be a very mature young man. I think he would have been the starting SF from the time he walked on campus.

Good job! You do a great job with the video, that’s not easy.
Also Randall is a good guest, very knowledgeable, I just followed him on Twitter.

Have to admit, I thought the team looked better on video than they did 'live'. Possibly because I was bummed that there were so many guys not playing. Brown was a bright spot because we NEED Nellie insurance, and it doesn't seem that OS can get/stay healthy. My POG was Tyson Jolly, as he looked like the guy I was expecting and not the guy I saw at the Greek scrimmage. On occasion I can see us playing with three guards, along with NJJ and DVE.

I think you may even see a little of: Jolly, Joiner, Myers, BLJ and Nelly

Excellent presentation again, Guy! The player who most impressed me on video was Parker Weiss. That's a great, confident stroke from a walk-on.

Guy, I watched the most recent podcast and I thought it was tremendous in both form and content. Thank you so much for including highlights of the scrimmage. Clearly, there was a lot of talent on that court last night and I'm happy to see that a guy like Mike Randle agrees.
Go Gaels!!!

Guy, I know you mentioned the Women's team, but I just looked at their roster and there are so many players that are new. Like you, I'm interested to see where the MAAC coaches pick them (guessing mid-pack) on Tuesday night. Hope an upcoming podcast is devoted to the Women.
