A big win for your Mizzou Tigers over LSU, yesterday. And a great goal line stand to end the game. I forgot to post this earlier. Congrats.

My daughter just graduated from MIZZOU in June. Having sent all those tuition $$ their way, I guess I do feel some level of excitement for their victory over LSU. However, my sense of pride is nothing compared to when the Gaels knock off a Sienna, as an example. After the Alabama loss, I told some friends here in the LOU that I liked Coach Drinkwitz. Although overwhelmed by talent, his team played with intensity and discipline through 60 minutes. Their intensity was such that they took it to 'Bama in the second half, albeit against 'Bama backups. Last year I went to the South Carolina game - MIZZOU win, and left in the third quarter because of boredom (dropped passes, stupid penalties). Post game festivities were fun, as is typical for the only game in town. So far, Drinkwitz has shown that he can recruit (receivers he has brought in, and indications are that he is an excellent game planner and in game coach). Quarterback is a redshirt freshman. Good times ahead for MIZZOU! Now I want to see Iona come to Columbia, and kick their asses in basketball.
