JoAnn passed away, yesterday, another victim of Covid19. JoAnn was the wife of Joe Murphy '59, and the Murphy family was one of the greatest benefactors of Iona College and she was also a Trustee of the College. I am sure that Iona will have a statement about this Grand Lady, shortly. Please remember her in your prayers. May she RIP.

Very sad news. Condolences to the Murphy family. May JoAnn Rest In Peace. Mr. and Mrs. Murphy are two of Iona’s biggest (and nicest) benefactors EVER and the turf field is named for JoAnn’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mazzella. Praying for Mr. Murphy and the Murphy family. Never saw Mrs. Murphy without a smile on her face. She was lovely. |
