Last Thursday, May 13th, Iona graduate, The Honorable Donald J. Sullivan '51 passed away, at the age of 91. He was a long time member of the Iona Alumni Board, and even as a sitting NYS Supreme Court Justice found the time to head up the Board's Internal Affairs Committee. If you looked up the definition of a judge in the dictionary you might very well find a picture of Judge Sullivan adorned in his black robes. But behind that stern 'look' was a man of wit and wisdom who was a great fan of his alma mater. There will be a funeral mass this Saturday at 10AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scarsdale. He will be missed. May he RIP.
