How does the Iona JB Buono School of Health Sciences sound?
He WAS a master healer and inventor of JB Juice.

Luckily, Iona treated this as a real estate deal and took no responsibility for program and staff. That was the mistake they made when they took over Seton years ago and a big part of financial difficulties the college experienced.

I have been told by my nephew, who lives nearby, that Iona signs have now replaced Concordia signs on the Bronxville campus. Also, was told that the soccer field is being renovated, with the work nearing 50% completion.

Just got a fundraising letter from Dr. Carey. Two of the things he mentioned in referencing the Bronxville campus was that the soccer field is being converted to a turf field and that a new floor/court is being installed in the gym. FYI.

Are they naming the campus the Twilight Zone?

Just drove through the campus, and noticed a few more IONA signs. Soccer field still not finished, but it is progressing. And there are a number of private houses on the property, but I don't know if they are part of the school, or have been sold off. Does anyone (CJB) know? Also, I'm wondering if HC Weekend will include a tour of the Bronxville campus.

Have no info on this, but I would think the church was excluded. It serves the community of Bronxville. All is pure speculation on my part.

It serves the community of Bronxville. All is pure speculation on my part. Correct, a separate lot and owned by the church. I looked into the houses and this is what I found: 18- Ressmeyer Hall is owned by Guion Street LLC 15 - Stein Hall is owned by Concordia. 19- Koepchen Hall is owned by Particular Harbor, LLC 20 - Ward House is owned by Biggest Fish Westchester, LLC Buildings 19 and 20 are owned by separate LLC but are the same owner. Building 18 goes to a Management firm who represents a lot of owners. Interestingly, Building 18 and 19 LLC's were recently formed LLC's so I wonder if Concordia may have sold off those assets trying to stay afloat or if they liquidated them after Iona showed no interest in those properties? In the end, it looks like building 15 is the only "house" that is included.

Thanks. I thought that might be the case. FYI, #19 is the former home (1920's) of Dutch Schultz. And just across the White Plains Post Rd. is the Ward House, which goes back to the 18th century, and I thought was an Historic Landmark. All the like looking structures that run in a row behind #14, used to be faculty residences. I hope a tour is in the works.
