It's a slow time, so, in case you missed it, catch up (on the MAAC Board) with the Iona-NY Presby thread. In addition to other info Iona 86 posted the Endowment numbers for the MAAC schools as well as other like schools. I came away with the following info:
1. While, we're different colleges, we do have things in common, endowments being one of them.
2. Some of us were founded at less than ideal times. Quinnipiac started in 1929, along with the stock market crash and the start of the Great Depression. And, as we all know, Iona first opened its doors in 1940. Nuff said.
3. Over the course of our history, we've had many battles with the Beechmont Associaton. And, I see that Manhattan has similar problems with their Riverdale neighbors.
Just wondering, what everyone thinks of that thread, as I said, it's a slow time.
