Dink Pate- a 6'8"CG out of Dallas TX.Last season played at national hoops power Prolific Prep (Napa, CA) will play at Lancaster HS in Texas. Kid is not a point forward... he is a natural CG that can really play PG. Ranked as the #2 prospect in Texas for 2024. Being recruited by Ricky Johns

Scouting Report: "Pate is loaded with talent. At 6-foot-8, he is best at the guard position where he shows a natural feel for the game and excellent ball handling ability for someone his size. With that being said, he is versatile enough to excel at all three perimeter positions and even the small ball four if need be. He has a clean stroke and is comfortable shooting off the catch and the bounce. While Pate is capable of filling the statsheet in all categories, his overall game is streaky at the moment but he is a confident prospect whose upside is clear at first glance. He must continue to work for consistency in his overall approach to the game and produce will the sole purpose of winning. How good he ends up being will be a direct indication of if he can consistently channel his efforts productively. Should he do so, he will have a chance at being one of the better names to ever come out of the metroplex." - Brandon Jenkins Recruiting Analyst 9/10/22 Rivals.

Scouting Report: "Glover is going to make a splash in the next update in the Rivals150 for the junior class. He showed off a smooth game on Wednesday, using craftiness to score near the basket as well as hitting outside shots. He was a top-10 performer on Cerebro Sports for the entire event, and finished the game with 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting and shot 4-of-7 from behind the arc as well. He also added seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals to his stat line.." - Travis Graf - Graf's Takeaways: Wrapping up the Jordan Holiday Classic, NYCHOOPSNET
"Glover turned in his second consecutive big game to solidify his status as a prospect on the rise. The junior wing has solid positional size and an emerging frame with a very pretty shooting stroke from behind the three-point line. While that remains his primary offensive asset, he showed some occasional signs of diversifying his attack today, particularly when he had open space to drive to his dominant right side. He finished with a team-high 25 points." - ADAM FINKELSTEIN - City of Palms: Boozers, Nowell lead their teams to the finals - 247sports.
"In his matchup against St. John's it didn't end as he'd like losing by 25 points but Jaiden Glover was still able to show plenty of talent and ability to really intrigue those in attendance on him being a local high major prospect. The 6-foot-5 wing has long arms and an athletic frame. He's not the most explosive or dynamic athlete but he's functional and fluid, able to use to skillset and physical tools to create some with the ball in his hands but he projects well as a shooter and showed his ability as a slasher. With St. John's establishing the tone and tempo early in the game and pulling out an early lead, Glover was forced to try and step up and carry the scoring load for TPS so his numbers don't paint the clearest picture. He scored 13 points on 5-of-15 from the field and shot just 1-of-6 from three but his mechanics would suggest he's a much better shooter than the box score suggests. With more open looks and more ability to spot-up while another guard finds him would elevate those numbers quickly for Glover but he also showed he can attack a closeout and create his own bucket when hard closeouts come his way. He also led the game in rebounding with seven which is pretty impressive for a wing. Glover did enough to catch the eyes of those in attendance yesterday and will be watching closely again on Sunday as he has his hands full again as he takes on Paul VI. -TRAVIS BRANHAM - DC National Hoops Festival Saturday Standouts - 247Sports -
Not sure that’s the case at all. Don’t you get it, these media types (Zagoria, Braziller, etc.) always like to get on the big time band wagon when they talk about recruits. Do you see anything peculiar in this particular quote from the article? “He previously held offers from St. John’s, Creighton, UNLV, Texas Tech, Rhode Island, Iona, Fordham, Fairfield, UAB and Manhattan.” Focus on the order of programs who get the most press…

Correct... In other articles he said Iona was one of the schools he was hoping to visit in the late fall. With our travel schedule, that would have been near impossible. I expect he will visit soon.
One of the top high school players in NY is playing at Hynes tomorrow night...Boogie Flands ('24) of Stepinac HS. Stepinac vs. Iona Prep. I don't believe the game is sold out but is always a good game.

Should be some really good players on the floor besides Boogie Flanders. Stepinac has Danny Carbuccia, 6' PG rated ★★★★ and 19th in the class of 25. 6'6" SF Braylan Ritvo can knockdown shots The Prep has a smart 5'10 PG named Blaise New. He is very underrated. They also have 6'6" Wing AJ Rodriguez who is having a great year.

Adam Njie, Jr. - - 6'2" PG out of Hillcrest Prep and a Brooklyn, New York native. Plays AAU for the Riverside Hawks. Is currently unrated by most of the national recruiting services. That will change and I expect him to pick up a 4★ rating or two. He will blow up this summer. He originally attended Eduprize Prep but jumped to Hillcrest in November due to the cancellation of Eduprize's National Team. Njie MVP honors this past summer's Southwest Basketball Camp . He followed that up with another MVP performance, being selected as the Co-Tournament Most Valuable Player at the prestigious Pangos All-West Frosh/Soph Camp for the Top 30 All-Star Game. Reported to be a tough, hard working PG that can create for himself and his teammates. Can shoot and plays under control...very smooth.

Scouting Reports: "Njie, while a point guard prospect, is much more of a pure scorer from the point guard position. He can create off the dribble at any time in the offense, and has the ability to score from anywhere on the floor, with a superb and strong handle of the ball, and a strong driving and finishing ability, combined with excellent body control. Njie has a nice shooting stroke with range, and he can shoot the basketball from the stand-still position on the floor or on the move. He has excellent body control in traffic, and superior physical strength in his upper and lower body, which allows him to overpower opposing guards. He plays with a high motor on both ends of the court, and is simply a problem for opposing defenders." - Anthony Ray- Nov 9, 2021 - Adam Njie Leaves Eduprize, Moves To Hillcrest Prep
