Scouting Reports: @austin_swartz23 (Cannon School) just plays with the "it factor." Poise, confidence and has touch/range on that jumper. Another D1 prospect for @coachcroth - Rick Lewis - President of Phenom Hoops.
We have seen 2024 Austin Swartz (Cannon) shoot the ball extremely well, there is no doubt about that. But his overall game has really taken off, showing his all-around game! Great size, IQ, and skillset! Future looks bright! Get on him quickly coaches! - Patrick O'Brien - VP of Operations/ Phenom Hoops National Recruiting Scout/Analyst
2024 Austin Swartz (CB Hoops) was once again off the charts. He plays with such a great feel for the game at an early age, sees the floor, makes terrific passes, and can fill up the scoresheet. - Patrick O'Brien - VP of Operations/ Phenom Hoops National Recruiting Scout/Analyst
2024 Austin Swartz (Team Charlotte) can get his shot off vs. anyone. Creates plays for himself and others. Smooth operator. Ability to pick his spots and shoot over defenders. - Tyler Lewis - VP Phenom Hoops.
Adam Njie, Jr. - - 6'2" PG out of Hillcrest Prep and a Brooklyn, New York native. Plays AAU for the Riverside Hawks. Is currently unrated by most of the national recruiting services. That will change and I expect him to pick up a 4★ rating or two. He will blow up this summer. He originally attended Eduprize Prep but jumped to Hillcrest in November due to the cancellation of Eduprize's National Team. Njie MVP honors this past summer's Southwest Basketball Camp . He followed that up with another MVP performance, being selected as the Co-Tournament Most Valuable Player at the prestigious Pangos All-West Frosh/Soph Camp for the Top 30 All-Star Game. Reported to be a tough, hard working PG that can create for himself and his teammates. Can shoot and plays under control...very smooth.

Interest: Syracuse, SJU, DePaul, Hofstra
Scouting Reports: "Njie, while a point guard prospect, is much more of a pure scorer from the point guard position. He can create off the dribble at any time in the offense, and has the ability to score from anywhere on the floor, with a superb and strong handle of the ball, and a strong driving and finishing ability, combined with excellent body control. Njie has a nice shooting stroke with range, and he can shoot the basketball from the stand-still position on the floor or on the move. He has excellent body control in traffic, and superior physical strength in his upper and lower body, which allows him to overpower opposing guards. He plays with a high motor on both ends of the court, and is simply a problem for opposing defenders." - Anthony Ray- Nov 9, 2021 - Adam Njie Leaves Eduprize, Moves To Hillcrest Prep
Duane Thompson - 6'7" SF out of Boston, Playing for Putnam Science and Team New England AAU and Expressions Elite. A vertical wing that can do it all. I would expect his recruiting to blow up in the next few months. Strong and smooth.
"After a slow first half, Thompson got his motor running and showed the skills that he could display going forward if his energy is running high. Thompson was bullying his opponents on both ends of the floor on the glass in the second half, using his 6-8 frame to muscle away boards, including a few second chance buckets on offense. Thompson also showed the ability to step out and hit the ‘3’ ball, knocking down one out of his three attempts, but he has solid form and should be able to stretch the floor as he develops." - Ryan Coyle - City of Basketball Love - Hoop Group Future All-American Standouts 08/05/2021
Tyler Betsey - 6/7" SF out of Windsor, CT and St. Thomas More School. Played last season at Windsor’ HS, plays AAU for the NY Rens. Last seaons he was selected as a CHSCA All State Team for Div 1. He averaged 23 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals per game He is also a very strong student.
"A forward that has plenty of size and is able to make an impact whenever he’s not scoring. Is able to block shots and get rebounds whenever he’s in the low post. Is a smart player that knows where to be at whenever he’s on the floor." - David Cordova - 2022 Battle in the Apple Top Performers-
Damarius Owens - 6'7" SF NYC born but living in the Rochester area, plays for Western Reserve Academy (OH) and City Rocks AAU. Was class of 2023 but reclassified.

Scouting Reports "Class of 2024 wing Damarius Owens plays for Western Reserve Academy in Ohio but is a Rochester (NY) native. The 6-7 forward runs with the City Rocks for AAU ball on the Nike EYBL circuit. Class of 2024 prospects generally do not run with the main squad, with some exceptions. When they do, often they play reserve roles with minimal minutes. Owens, on the other hand, is starting to play a more prominent role with the City Rocks and had a strong weekend at the EYBL Louisville session. In less than 15 minutes per game, Owens averaged 9.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.8 blocks while shooting 76.5% from the field and 66.7% from beyond the arc. " - Mike McAllister JUN 1, 2022 - Damarius Owens Shines at EYBL Louisville Sports Illustrated.
"Owens showed off his athleticism and skill in City Rock’s 72-33 blowout of Team Final Red. The sophomore threw down a couple of thunderous slams, including a big lob from one of his teammates. Owens now stands at 6-7 after growing a few inches this year, which he’s still trying to adjust to by getting as many shots up as possible and putting on muscle in the weight room. Owens showed off his touch from the outside, knocking down a couple of pull up jumpers to go along with his other highlight reel plays, scoring 11 points. As of right now he holds offers from Siena, UMBC and Cincinnati, but also has interest from Dayton. Owens likes to do the dirty work on the floor, making plays that other players might not want to. He rebounds, defends and sets up his teammates which he hopes will help him get the attention of more college coaches. Owens is looking forward to getting back on the EYBL circuit, playing against high level Division I players every game where you either “Punch or get punched”." - Team Final Scrimmages: 16U Notebook - City of Basketball Love, -04/05/2022
Anthony Akande - 6'4" SG out of Arts High School in Newark, NJ, plays AAU for the JerseyForce. We also have an offer out on his teammate, PG Elijon Nix (2023). Not a a lot of information on him yet. He has the potential to be a very good Div 1 player. He is way under recruited at this point. I expect this kid to have dozens of offers by Christmas.
