Iona is off to a good start beating UMASS 21-12 at home on 9/2. Tries scored in order by McKenzie, McDonagh & McGeever with Buckley 3/3 on conversions.

This past weekend, Iona pounded Fordham 47-14 at Mazzella.

86, of interest to me, as my oldest granddaughter is Captain of the Lafayette Women's team. I'm going down in a couple of weeks to watch a Rugby tournament.
P.S. For her 21st birthday, I gave her a bottle of Capt. Morgan Rum. Blacked out the a in Morgan and added two letters at the end, so that it would be her name. Taped a team picture on the back of the bottle. (My wife wasn't pleased).
