It wasn't the substitutions that lost the game. It happened when our player started getting selfish (up by 10) and began playing one on one. Disagree. The team was out of sorts when SMU made the run in the middle of the second half and we had the wrong personnel on the court. |

When you hit 62% from 3 you will win 90% of the time unless you’re giving up layups at the other end consistently. Then a team gains confidence and hits some open 3’s. So to some it up the press was horrible and so was the half court D. This teams problems starts and ends on the defensive end. It appears we are either tired or slow |

This was a very bad loss but those two guards on SMU can absolutely hoop. I feel like Pitino should’ve went with Shema much earlier in the second half but SMU played a helluva game and iona didn’t adjust once the game got close.

Btw Iona hasn’t put one good game together outside of the Hynes Center. Very concerning.

So much for the talk that SMU stinks. Hard to swallow a loss when we were up 12 in the second half. Maybe peterhamilton put a hex on us.

This was a 3-7 team that averaged 66 PPG and lost to a 1-12 Jackson State team at home. It’s absolutely pathetic. |

Btw Iona hasn’t put one good game together outside of the Hynes Center. Very concerning. They kicked Vermonts ass at Mohegan and played fairly well against the Bonnie’s at Barclays. Don’t think this is fair |

They lost to freakin Coppin State at home under Pitino. Everyone needs to relax. Was this a bad loss? Of course but if they go 0-3 in this tourney then it’s time for concern. This team was never going to get an at large if we’re being honest. |

I do feel DJ was an absolute star earlier in the season when he was not forcing anything and he was letting the game come to him. I thought recently he has started to force things a little bit. I am sure there is film on him now and teams are starting to scout him, so it is much more difficult than it was at the beginning of the season.
