So when are we signing a player? Asking for a friend. First the majors eat, then us, hopefully we get a few steals that fall back downto us This is fair. Also another set of players who will be forgotten here are JUCOs. There are going to be some VERY good JUCOs who are good enough to go to majors but won't get the time of day due to portal obsession. |

If it pisses you off that much that we're not in the A10 and set up for an-large this year, renounce your fandom and go root for Fordham. Otherwise, realize this is just sports and coming on this board daily just to bitch and moan that we're not a top 50 program is just intensely stupid and a waste of everyone's time here. |

Arizona, Gonzaga, and St Mary’s do it better than anyone. Hopefully, we can continue some of that progress that RP began… |

Frustrating times for sure, knowing what could have been.. but def no doom and gloom. We owe it to the Iona athletic dept and new coaching staff to be positive through these times. There will be time to be groan and moan if Tobins new team isn't one of the better in the MAAC next year, because all the other teams are in the same boat too.
Having said that my expectations for MAAC play next year knowing what Tobin can do is pretty damn high. Nobody played harder for their coach than FDU did in that tournament. That speaks pretty loudly to me.

This is all I ask. Iona hasn't made a bad hire in literally 30 years. Why assume the program is dead in the water now. We have a great coach and between the portal and overlooked JUCOs/HSers we'll end up with a solid roster.
