What an embarrassment for Iona in granting this woman the degree of Doctor of Humane Letters, Honoris Causa.
"For her outstanding achievements as a trailblazer for women in journalism, and for her deep dedication to truth . . ." has proven to be anything but a dedication to truth in the recent FOX News litigation.

Not sure if this is the Iona connection to MB, but a few years back I was watching the Columbus Day parade and MB was the co-Grand Marshall. And that year (if memory serves me right) the other co-Grand Marshall was a NY businessman, Robert LaPenta.
I was hoping that we would have given an Honorary Degree to Dick Vitale. And I know that a member of this Board tried his best to make it happen.
