Good topic 59. Overall I think Iona has been on the winning end of the transfer portal more times than not. If I had to go with one player I would say Rashad James. Where did Rashad end up? |

Good topic 59. Overall I think Iona has been on the winning end of the transfer portal more times than not. If I had to go with one player I would say Rashad James. Where did Rashad end up? Northwood (NAIA) in Florida playing for Rollie Massimino where he earned Player of the Year. He played well in the G League but was never given a chance to play in the NBA. i think his development was hurt as his high school coach (Spencer Mayfield) ran everything around 6'4" Sean Kilpatrick and to keep Kilpatrick from transferring out, put the ball in his hands and played 6'1" James at PF/C because he was a freak athlete that could get over 6'6" players, so James did not really develop the needed PG skills he needed for the next level. At Iona it was tough for him to get the time he needed at PG as he was playing behind Machado and MoMo. |

Sean Kilpatrick I believe went to the University of Cincinatti, though I'm not sure. Also, believe that SK's father was involved with BB, but I forget in what capacity.
