Isaac Brice- 6'7" F out of Picayune, MS and Southwest Mississippi Community College. Has only been paying organized nball since 2021. with a year under his belt he won District MVP in High School. He is very athletic, Strong, uses his body well. Has good footwork and finishes with either hand. He can step out for a jumper or play above the rim. He is good off the boards, is a physical defender and grabs boards. He can run the court and was recruited by Mississippi State for track (high jumper. This season in JUCO he averaged 7.5 ppg, 5.9 boards and 1.2 apg. He also shot 75% from the ft line. Tons of potential. He could make a career off the pick and roll alone. He was a freshman qualifier and has three years remaining. At the recent All-American JUCO Showcase Invitational Top 200 he turned some heads.

Both were HS Track stars, who excelled at High Jumping. We can only hope.

Guessing after summer practice Tobin decided they most needed a versatile long athletic player, who can rebound, add depth to his press and had major upside.

I was worried about the depth of our presence down low for this season. I am over it!

Fair to say, likely missed on a recruit or two, but saw Brice at a recent Juco recruiting event and really liked him.

The good news on this is Tobin must be satisfied that we have enough scorers, that was one of my concerns.

Honestly,I was never concerned about scoring. Have 5 D1 guys who 36%+ 3pt shooters, as well as Aranguren and Bates. If 1-2 guys are off that day, others to pick them up. Not concerned about their previous ppg, none took tons of shots but are capable. When Tretout had his role expanded he averaged 13PPG. I remember a year with Cluess Iona had 4-5 guys average double figures. I think we see that this season
