I think Walt has a legitimate shot at getting drafted this year. Would be great to see! They have him playing point which will help him. Announcers believe he has a shot at late first/early second round.

Here's a report on the Tobin era players:
As we saw last night, Aranguren looks good.
Sully's doing OK for Albany.
The rest have done nothing. Not Gordon. Not JQ. Not Bates or Saunders. Nothing.

You could make a case for Saunders. We all knew that while at Iona he demonstrated good 3pt shooting ability. Well at UNH, in three games he's 7-14 (50%) which is VG. But with both teams he's more of a one trick pony. But, he's good at that one trick.

I saw this also , been following him Jungers is a much better version. Jungers was a pleasant surprise at the open practice. Was surprised he only played 7 minutes vs Hofstra after hitting that long 3. Couldn't have been about his defense, considering outside of Bundy, the entire team didn't play any D

Not Pitino related, but we don’t have a thread for Tobin era. Jeremiah Quigley averaging 7.3 minutes and 1.3 points a night for George Mason. Only TA transfer that seems to be thriving is Jean. Hopefully some kids might start to prioritize familiarity and minutes over $ in the future

He'll be in his 3rd school in 3 years next season

Nellie averaging 18.0 & 12.3 with 2 blocks, 2 steals, and only 2.5 TOs in 28 minutes for 3-0 New Mexico which just beat #22 UCLA. Lobos headed to Queens Sunday for another son vs. dad event.
