Hate to criticize him, but I didn't like our former coach playing him over Ayo. He was, imo, an okay player but Ayo had a much higher ceiling.

Feel like Florence ended up at a JUCO? Dunno about Jefferson, heard he poo-pooed the workout he attended with Tobin when he got the job, enjoy serving coffee the rest of your life dude. Interesting you say that. Really couldn't understand why Jefferson didn't stay at Iona. I google him from time to time, as I felt his transferring out made the least sense. Definitely wasn't getting any upside interest from a better program than Iona. He was a slick passer and hoped he would stay. Apparently isn't playing hoops anywhere it seems. Whatever. I cheer for kids that WANT TO BE AT IONA..... He wanted to be here last year. Don’t hold your breath thinking these kids will stay for four years. Those days are over. Cheer for the name on the front because the name on the back is a rental. |

It was reported that Tyson Jolly is back playing pro in France. He is playing for AVIGNON/PONTET BASKET. The team is in the 3rd division of French pro ball. Tyson was averaging 12 points and 3 rebounds a game. He has missed the last four games and the team signed Nico Clareth who is averaging 6.5 points and 3.5 boards. Tyson must be injured, hope it is not anything serious.
