The great Walter Davis passed away today. a great talent he was held back by recurring back problems and his cocaine addiction. Still averaged 18.9 ppg over his career.

First-team All-ACC at UNC
Gold Medalist for Team USA at the 1976 Montreal Olympics.
5th overall pick in the NBA 1977 Draft by the Suns.
6× NBA All-Star
2× All-NBA Second Team
NBA Rookie of the Year
NBA All-Rookie First Team
