Colgate (2-2) won 59-52 over Gardner-Webb at a neutral site.

Harvard (4-1) lost 73-64 at Boston College.

Fairfield lost 69-63 to Queens University of Charlotte at a neutral site. Peyton Smith led the Stags with 16 points.

After a promising 1st couple days of the season, the MAAC is having a terrible year.

Now 10-22 vs D1 opponents. Out of the 22 losses, 17 have been by double digits, not even competitive in most games. Not all vs HM teams.

Iona is the only team without a double digit loss.

Colgate (3-2) won 57-55 over Weber State at a neutral site.

Manhattan won 67-63 at Central CT State. Shaquil Bender's 16 points led 4 Jaspers who scored in double figures.

Quinnipiac, down by 7 at the half and also late in the game, put on a late surge and won at home 85-82 over Albany. Paul Otieno's 21 points led 4 Bobcats who scored in double figures.

I watched the SJU-Utah game and the TV announcers kept saying that RP came away from the Tourney with two wins. I thought that they had lost two and one won one. Did I hear wrong?

P.S. DJ is probably St. John's best player, although Soriano is good.

Hofstra (2-2) won 102-68 over Buffalo at the Gulf Coast Showcase.

St. Joseph's (3-2) was tied 77-77 at the end of regulation against #17 Kentucky, but lost 96-88 in overtime.

Long Beach State (2-3) lost 61-52 to Illinois State at Fort Myers.

Siena lost 70-56 to Central Michigan in Daytona Beach. Giovanni Emejury led the Saints with 20 points and 8 rebounds.
