I'd love to know why Arenguren isn't getting minutes. Panzo hasn't scored and gets beat by his man in the press just about everytime. Arenguren was screwing up the press, Shema kept coaching him up after he would get yelled at, Coach was right on all of them. Also 3 turnovers in 14 minutes

Sitting behind the bench it's all about the press. Tretout was benched for not being aggressive. Williams plays because he is aggressive. If one guy is hesitant it screws up the press, today it led to layups other days open corner 3s. We live and die with the press it's TA baby, screw it up he goes nuts, he called a TO to yell at Arenguren when he came in in the 2 nd.

Watched the replay. Bottom line this is an energy team, fuels the press and that creates O. Shouldn't need Tobin to get a T to wake them up, but Tobin in postgame talked about winning games like this. Most MAAC games will be grinds.

In this game it did take the T to wake them up. It's on the upperclassmen who play the most minutes to set the example. It's not an opinion anymore, it's simply clearly lacking, with the exception of Oz who is like a coach on the floor (and bench when he's out). Hopefully the younger guys who remain here take after him.

Speaking of younger guys, what happened to Adewale? Is he injured or is he in Anderson’s doghouse?

Oz really does change the game. Great way to transition to Maac play. Need to get the FT shooting figured out.

Guys get better by working on it constantly in the offseason, like Walt did to prep for last year. Just have to hope they don't miss the big one in the big spot like in '22.

Oz really does change the game. Great way to transition to Maac play. Need to get the FT shooting figured out. Let’s get Os more shots and a lot more opportunities to pass the ball out of the high post. Our offense is still way to dependent on 1 on 1 drives (often 1 on 2 or 1 on 3) to the hoop, and we still wind up with too many desperation heaves from way outside as the shot clock expires. We have to fix this, and we can.

While I agree with you that foul shooting won't get much better this season, let's not compare this to Walt. Walt was already a good foul shooter (78%) and just missed a couple of clutch ones which motivated him to improve. Some of these guys are historically poor foul shooters.

I mean you're proving my point he went from 78% as you say to what, 95%? Hard work paid off. These guys all have the ability they just need to work at it as hard as Walt did. Maybe they won't be 90% but sure as hell would be better than 60%.

I only recognized the name of one ref from the Harvard game, Edward Corbett, Jr. Is he the son of the great, retired ref, Eddie Corbett, who I believe is from Yonkers. And does anyone know which ref was TA voicing his displeasure, when he got T'd up?

Ed Corbett reffed 7 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, 6 Northeast and 3 Big East Championship games, 26 NCAA Tournaments, 6 Final Fours and 4 national championship games. A very impressive career. Ed was from Yonkers and spent his whole life there. He attended St. Mary's Elementary School and graduated from Sacred Heart High School. Edward Corbett, Jr is his son.

86, thanks. Ed Corbett, the father, was one of my favorite MAAC refs, along with Mike Kitts. And, I say MAAC refs, knowing that they have no ties to the League, but that they did a lot of MAAC games. My all time favorite ref, and I can't recall his name, but know that he worked for Villanova. He refed in the two man days. Need help with his name.
