My three Keys to the game, if we are going to win. And I'm not even going to include free throws, because only luck will help with those. 1. GG has to stay out of foul trouble. 2. Panzo's 3pt shooting percentage has to be at least close to 35%. 3. Jean Aranguren has to get about 20 minutes of PT.

shark man, and others, how about listing your three keys to winning. Is defensive rebounding your #1?

In my way of thinking, defensive rebounding is a matter of coaching/positioning. While offensive rebounding is a matter of effort/energy and out working your opponent.

Can make a case that it's the other way around, but no big deal. Agree with Sharkey, keeping SPU off the offensive glass is a key to this game specifically. But things like proper energy, good ball movement/movement without the ball, etc, these are things we need every game, though against a great D like SPU, it's even more vital here. Still feel like this is a game where first to 60 wins.

14 games into the season.
I watch these games and often wonder “does this team spend any time practicing offense at all?” I’ll admit I don’t like the 5 out offense, but if we are going to run it we at least need to execute it much better than we have so far. The team looks lost on offense. It’s not just terrible shooting percentages in many games, it’s poor execution on offense. Too many desperate heaves as the shot clock expires; too many 1 on 3 drives; too many shot clock violations.
This is on the staff more than the players. We cannot just concentrate on defense.
PS
I’ll have to miss the second half to coach a youth game. We’ll have players cutting to the basket and setting picks.

Played terrible and still in it. I can see Iona winning. Within 9 playing horrible and shooting 2-14 from 3, and SPU having unusual great shooting night from 3.

Get Tretout and Panzo out of the game.. don't put them back in. Agreed. It’s comical how many shots are being missed.
