*When all was said and done, record wise, the team is where most on this Board thought it would be. And that is just a feeling as I haven't re-read the forecasts. But, I think it's fair to say that there have been some surprises. At least to me.
*In our most recent game the three best things that happened:
1. The fire shown by TA.
2. The quickness of JQ, as it seems h'e taking over as PG. And JB can play along side JQ as an OG.
3. The most entertaining player on the team, GG, showed that he's more than just a defensive guy, as he 'took over' on offense, and turned the game around.
* Not all was good, and I'm talking about foul shooting. I was going to say that they shot like CYO players, but that wouldn't be fair to the CYO guys. 9-19, 47.4%. And on the season we're .655%. There are a couple of exceptions, JQ .837%, and JA .735%. But even JQ missed the front end of two late one on one's.
* Read that JA was limited to 14 minutes because he struggled on defense. Hope they can fix his 'D', because, on offense, in the past two games, he's shot ELEVEN for TWELVE from the field. Two of three from deep. We need that offense.
* I'm one of many that have questioned Panzo's PT, with 35 minutes in the last game. All I can come up with is that TA must have his reasons, and he knows more than we do. So, I guess that's good enough. I do know that he's a good 3pt shooter, and expect his 35% to move into the forties by season's end.
* Considering that he's been out for a long time Oz Shema has made a big contribution, stat wise and otherwise. I am hoping that the offense will get him more touches, and show off his passing skills.
* Another thing that I'm hoping for is that our two left handed shooters, GG and JB, will attack the basket from the left rather than the right side. Just seems that most of their drives are from the right side.
* And my last hope is that we get Terrell Williams back. Think he'll be good in MAAC play, if he's not injured.
Well that's all I can remember, with one point that I'm sure I forgot.
