Great win today. Let’s keep it going next weekend. We hit free throws and open threes today. This was the difference maker. 11-18 (61%) from the line--not stellar but a slight improvement. Outrebounded them on both boards 39-30. Gave up six offensive rebounds early and then only three more the rest of the way. Impressive particularly with the small lineup we went with for long stretches

I’m sitting courtside (thanks Gale Nation NIL collective), so I have a great view of our half court offense. 1. We don’t pass the ball to Os when he’s open. 2. Os gets open. 3. We don’t move toward the hoop without the ball except to cross over to the other side of the baseline to reach the opposite perimeter. 4. Our half court offense is almost entirely dependent on 1 on 1, 1 on 2 or 1 on 3 drives. Can’t understand why the above is the case. Where do you usually sit that you had a bad view?

Best 10 minutes of the year to finish the game. gordan was a monster today, love that he is starting to knock down 3’s as well, and he did fairly well at the charity stripe. Shema did a little of everything, seems like he is getting a little healthier, he was more mobile today. Panzo didn’t like the benching, as he showed up as good panzo today, having his 5th strong game of the year from 3. Overall team played tough today, Quigley and Arranguren are two tough kids I’m hoping we can have for 4 years! Crazy stat...Gordon is now 8-19 from thee this season. He was 6-9 from the line today after missing his 1st two attempts Pretty sure he actually missed his first three

Came away from the game being happy with the outcome. And, also the late offensive run. I even felt pretty good about our foul shooting until ......... I looked at the boxscore and our season's stats, and other boxscores. 1. We shot 61% from the line, and benefitted from some fortuitous bounces or friendly rims. And this was lower than our season's average, 65%. 2. There were six MAAC teams in action, yesterday, and this is their FT percentages, yesterday: *MSM 86% *Manhattan 77% *SPU 76% *Marist 73% *Rider 67% *Iona 61%
On the season we've made 193 foul shots and our opponents, 262. I'm sure that the coaches are aware of the problem, and unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a solution.

I'll preface this by saying that no one sits further away from the court than I do. But when watching Iona warm up for the second half, thought I spotted a guy in a black warm up shirt, with a name (Farias) on the back. Confident in seeing the black shirt, but less confident in seeing the name on the shirt. Anyone notice him?

The back of everyone’s warm up said “family”, maybe that is what you saw on the back of the walk on? Someone told me he was off the roster, though I see he is still on the website.

I'm sure if my seats were as close as yours, I would have seen that.

I’ve heard he was last seen in a sled being pulled by reindeer, sitting alongside a guy with a red outfit and white beard. The sled was heading North and rumor has it we may not see him again…
