Thought 12 days would be enough to recover from a turned ankle. Tobin said unlikely for Sunday. Thanks for calling me out, I forgot you have never made a wrong call. Why don’t you post all your picks each day so we can all make a lot of money.

Very good win. When winning a game like last night against a good team and down 16-2,18-4 to win is climbing the mountain. Incredible game by GG and contributions from his teammates across the board. Coaching A+ why timeouts called at the right time!! Was not at game due to illness but watched it twice on ESPN+ Lets continue to bring energy and effort! Coach Al

Better FT% when it counted on the 2nd half. Quninny winning the Maac is a JOKE! I believe we made every foul shot from the 2:13 mark in. Gordon and Quigley looked focused on each attempt. Vin Parise commented that it’s not uncommon to start the foul parade around a minute to go. He pointed out our teams overall deficient percentage as a reason Fairfield started earlier.

What a strange game thread. Yup. We saw a little bit of everything. I believe after Bates and Sultan made really nice baskets, Fairfield made an ole layup in a nanosecond immediately after the buckets. Frustrating view for fans. I was impressed with the glimpses of athleticism from Williams. He showed some great leaping ability on the boards and was able to hit that one outside shot. I think the rust has worn off and now he just needs to be more comfortable with the extra playing time. No run for Saunders and Brice. Most likely a coaches choice based on Fairfield’s style of play.

I was really impressed by the resiliency of the team. Down what they were to start 16-2 to come back and get a gutty win. I was throughly impressed by that and that heart can allow them to make a run in the MAAC. Greg Gordon is a special slashing guard we all know it, but the FT woes of him Joel and truthfully the rest of the team aside from JQ are going to be a serious detriment. With shooting like that we can never really pull ahead to a comfortable lead and this is what is going to hurt us in MAAC play the most. Very pleased with the contributions of Sully, Williams, and Bates glad to see them step up and play solid minutes for us. Im hoping Shema isnt too banged up looked uncomfortable all night out there. Overall great effort can't wait to see them play Sunday against a Rider team that has given us issues at home. One figures too Baggett playing for his job with the expectations being so high this year to fall so flat they need to make a long run in that tournament.

If you're looking for a silver lining, last night we shot 76.47% from the foul line (13-17) in the second half.

I still don't quite understand Brown and Gordon when it comes to shooting. From the foul line and the 3pt line they use their left hand. However, when attacking the basket it seems to me that they use their right hand more than their dominant/left hand. Am I wrong about this?

Five guys that for the most part weren't mentioned. As follows: * Alex Bates, to me looked pretty good on the court. Hit a nice corner three, but then must have made a defensive mistake, as he was pulled from the game and didn't get back in. * Terrell Williams played his best game since returning from injury. Logged 18 minutes, hit a three with four rebounds and a steal. Looked more comfortable on the court. * Sultan Adewale played 11 minutes and shot 2-4 from the field and 1-1 from the line. Only had two boards, but he out fought three Stags for one of them. * Saunders and Brice were DNP's and I don't know if they were injury related or coach's decision.

Bates did not cover his man after making the three. He went to cover the in-bounder and then peeled off to cover his man, who beat him down the court for any easy bucket. Bates was immediately pulled.

Little late with this question, but was it ever disclosed why Jay Young was fired after the teams Bahamas trip? Rumors, but very abrupt.
