A Buffalo sweep would be incredible, but as long as we can split the weekend we are right on track to fight for second place the rest of the way.
Go Gaels!

If Iona wants to finish 2nd which is certainly attainable, beating Niagara will go a long way to getting there. Tough to catch a team that is ahead of you and has the tie breaker with you.
Should be a tight game. KP has this an an Iona 1 pt win.

Niagara plays Canisius Tuesday night. We might get them a little banged up and they will be on one day's rest when we play on Thursday. Go for the jugular.

Canisius @ Niagara tonight is a good warmup for our games in Buffalo later this week…

We are now 1 game back of Niagara for second place, but tied in the loss column. The MAAC should do something next year to address the scheduling imbalance. Right now of the 11 MAAC teams, some have played as many as 12 conference games and others have played as few as 10, while most have played 11. Makes it difficult to interpret the standings or to get into a consistent flow.

Look at the loss column, as you can't make up losses.

Won't change when we move to 13, either.

Won't change when we move to 13, either. I think if they introduced one early weeknight game each week it would create much more balance on scheduling. Not sure, but believe this would ensure the largest gap between any two teams at any point in the season would be just one game.
