So disappointing. This game, along with the Marist, Niagara & Quinnipiac losses is the difference from having a terrific season to a decent one. Worth noting that we are 7-5 in the MAAC right now, which is exactly what I predicted we'd be 12 games in. |

Spoon deserves credit, switched to a zone and we didn't score again. We should have used that last timeout as soon as we saw it. Hey, both Rider and Niagara wish they had another couple minutes to overtake us, this time it bites us. At least we showed fight and came back. Yeah, Tobin calls 3 timeouts in 1st half, but doesn't use the last one. Strange |

My take on the "Buffalo split" thing.
Iona05's point is that if you told us all we'd go 1-1 in Buffalo, we would have assumed a loss to Niagara and a win against Canisius, and knowing that Niagara is a decent team that was actually ahead of us in the standings, we would have "understood" if you will.
Instead, we got the reverse, so to I70's point, it feels like a missed opportunity. But, tying back to my earlier post, it's life on the road in league play. We have two winnable games at home next weekend--let's start a new streak!

Sorry, one more point. If we were gonna go 1-1 in Buffalo, honestly what we did is better than what we would have expected, since we had already lost to Niagara at Hynes. Needed to ensure the split against the Purps; the split against Canisius won't come into play when tiebreakers are sorted.

Panzo should not be getting the playing time he does. If memory serves me right he leads the team in minutes played. I’ve stated this before. 2. There is a good Panzo and a bad Panzo. He’s had some terrific games and some really poor (offensively). His overall play is good however. 3. You don’t judge a player by one games performance. 4. Williams has done nothing to compare with Panzo this season. To make him out to be a “Michael Jordan” compared to Panzo in any way, shape or form is absurd. 5. Thus - Really??? P.S. In my opinion it is NOT ok we got the split in Buffalo |

I am going to make a bold prediction.... the sun will rise tomorrow. It is a game. Relax. Of course we want to win but the only thing that matters is our play in the MAAC tournament.
