Based on that spreadsheet the winner of that FF/Can game actually didn't matter for whatever reason. I didnt dig in, but Fairfield finishing first helps us in tiebreakers.

So basically to be alive on Saturday for a chance at a 5 seed, need to beat Manhattan, plus wins by Quinnipiac over Marist / SPU over Rider / AND the most unlikely one.. Siena over Niagara. Naturally, all those things will happen. And then we'll lose to Siena.

Tonight marks Game #2 in the battle of two of the top frosh in the MAAC, Quigley and Winston. First game, an Iona win, both played well with many Iona people giving a close edge to Winston. A game within a game. And I hope we get to see this battle for three more years.

One more thing that I'm looking at tonight is the attendance. I've watched a few Manhattan home games and the attendance has been poor. Just wondering if playing a long time rival will make a difference.

Two things: 1. Not full, but less empty? 2. Don't believe it's plagiarism if you give credit.

It seems Manhattan is seriously doing away with caring about sports. I wonder and again I am no insider just a speculator if they move to a lower conference or even pull a Hartford. When reading about their staffing cuts it seemed that they had a catastrophic deficit with athletics according to the NY Post "The college’s athletics department went $55.575 million over budget between 2019 and 2022 according to an audit obtained by The Post."

Manhattan is in serious trouble beyond sports.
