Honestly I don't think he left in search of a bigger NIL deal. Bailing on his teammates this late only hurts his value. He was suspended earlier in the year. The last game he played, he was pissed off when Tretout forced a tough layup end of game, and he didn't get the touch despite finally getting hot. As soon as the game ended, he went straight to the locker room, not joining the team on handshake line. My 1st thought was, oh shit, he's getting suspended the next game. Little did I know that would be his last game I think it was more of a Gordon/Tretout thing than him leaving for better NIL deal. Unfortunately, the wrong kid left From a production perspective yes. But you can’t put up with insubordination. Most players are able to flex their own desires and be good teammates. Some are not capable of that. True. Tobin did what he had to do. Sounds something similar to what happened with Farias, reading between the lines when Guy asked him at a presser |
