Is March 9th v. Siena, correct? I want to make sure I drive down from Central Connecticut to express my appreciation to Os for his loyalty to the program, playing hurt this year while he's not himself, and generally being the kind of guy you want on your squad.

Two things: 1. Saturday's game is at 1PM. 2. There will probably be a reception, but while I'm hoping for a post game reception, I'm not holding out hope.

Per Bryan Davis email: 11:30 a.m. Pregame Reception – Presented by Pepe Auto Group Hosted for our premium season ticket holders and President Circle donors ($1,000+ per year) to Athletics, these receptions are Iona’s way of thanking that group for their generosity and support of Iona student-athletes. Saturday’s reception will take place in the LaPenta School of Business atrium and will close 20 minutes before tip-off.

Heard that the e-mail which announced that the game was on a Sunday, was sent to the big drinkers and big eaters, in an attempt to hold down the cost. My e-mail was for a Friday game, knowing of my mobility issues.

I seriously want to commend Os Shema for his true dedication to Iona. A true class act and a nice kid. He embodies what I want in an Iona University Gael.

I complained to the Athletic Dept. that the reception should be post game so that the fans can congratulate and thank the players. Was told most fans would use it as an opportunity to question the coaches. And this was BEFORE the Draddy Debacle.

Heard this year for senior night that each senior player will be accompanied by a senior citizen fan and they will break dance and do the polka at mid court.

What time does the ceremony start? Want to be there to give Shema an ovation he deserves, despite what’s happened this season.

Senior Ceremony is PRIOR to the game, not halftime. Assume 10-15 minutes before tip off.

Sort of surprised that Terrell Williams would be part of the ceremony, as I was hoping that he would return. And while I know he could still come back, I see this as an indication that he won't. Anyone think differently?
