Thanks to our seniors and particularly Shema who has been a loyal representative of Iona from day one.
Go Gaels!

Not really sure this matters much, but need a win and a MSM loss to FF to get the 7 vs Manhattan
A loss or MSM win and likely in 8/9 game vs Canisius

I'm hoping the guys show up and put out a good effort for their teammate Os, and their own personal pride. Last night was not a good effort. A chance for them to finish the conference season at .500 also.

Sid when does the ceremony start? 12:45? It wasn’t on the email.

Must be at halftime? Probably after the game??? I don't believe Bryan Davis mentioned in the email on Wednesday. Either way Oz Shema should get the best reception of all.

Sadly I doubt he will, most of the crowd doesn’t give a crap and standing and clapping is exhausting for the majority! Os so deserves a standing ovation, but I don’t expect it. What this young man did was legendary. He’s playing hurt, rooting and teaching his teammates on the bench. He’s been a great teammate, just far from his last year self. I know this, Osborn Shema is going to be successful in life!

The television pano view for most regular season games often resembles a cross between people watching an English literature lecture and a tennis match. Fans appear cerebral with minimal enthusiasm. I have noticed much more energy from the fans at the MAAC tournament, specifically the semi and final games.

Senior Ceremony is PRIOR to the game, not halftime. Assume 10-15 minutes before tip off.

I’m assuming the ceremony starts right around 1pm and the start of the game delayed a bit because of it.

In the past it has always been about twenty minutes or so before the game, depending upon how many seniors were being honored. And I expect the same, today.
