Has the sweep theory been working this year, you know why I ask😁 Gordon was the big reason the Gaels swept Fairfield. My guess is Panzo will need a big night from 3 for the sweep tonight. Actually first game it was Panzo. That was by far his best game as a Gael. |

To be fair, we ARE underdogs tonight, both in seed and in the eyes of Vegas. (And on top of that, we are going against my sweep theory LOL.) I have zero expectations and will celebrate appropriately if we do get the W here. Has the sweep theory been working this year, you know why I ask😁 One year is not a sample. This is historically based. |

Pinzow has to drive once in awhile to open things up and get him better looks. Otherwise teams put a shadow on him and he becomes invisible.

By the way we did see a little of Adewale and Shema together last night.Tonight may not be the game for it, but I liked the way we were bigger with both of them in.
Yes Panzo was on fire at Fairfield. We need someone to to be on fire each night to win this, last night it was Tretout, maybe tonight it's Panzo. Don't rule out Shema, although he was anything but hot last night, he did hit his first and he has the potential to be a surprise secret weapon from 3 for us. We need some extraordinary occurrences for this team to make the miracle run, another possibility is Aranguren having a big game. Someone (or two) has to step up each night in a big way.

We will need Panzo hot from 3 like last time when he went 7 for 13 if we’re gonna have a chance of winning. Especially if Oz and Brown struggle from 3 like they have been recently. |

Have to think that you're more athletic and quicker than Panzo. He seems like a one trick pony. But he is great at that one trick. If he could only set himself before shooting, I feel his 3pt percentage would be about 50%. |

Nothing official here, but Terrell Williams looking particularly loose in the warmups. Wondering if we purposely held him out the extra day, and he'll see some minutes today as we can use the extra body playing our second game in 2 days?

While I'm on that, different style opponent tonight, going from super physical Manhattan to finesse Fairfield. Saunders and Bates didn't play last night--we're more likely to see them sprinkled in tonight, I'd think.

I have been so nervous for this game all day long. I have done diareah around 3 times. This is a huge game for the handsome Wheza Panzo. He’ll have to hit those 3 points and drive to the hoop more today with big BALL fakes! I got inside scoop this morning that he had a great night sleep sleeping around 9.5 hours and he was hitting a majority of his 3’s in shoot around today!!!!! Wheza panzo will Make Iona Great Again and take us to the semi finals and then the finals and then a yugeeeeee championship to go DANCING!!!!! He’s probably a talented ballet dancer too! All the games are in his hands ! This reminds me of the cruz davis , armonk pizza guy from last year |
