Danny Hurley is bemoaning the fact that the BE only got three teams into the Tourney, and mentioned their 6-0 record, while stating that SJU, SH, and Providence all won 20 or more games. And this led to the BE Commissioner wondering what the Conference should have done differently.
I'll throw in my 2c and suggest not have one of your teams coached by RP. It was a no brainer for the NCAA to go thumbs down on SJU. But, in doing so and make the move less obvious, they also had to pull the plug on SH and Providence. The next move by the BE should be to remind RP that the Kentucky Derby and Louisville are just around the corner.

Not sure if it will happen, but the MAAC Board has Siena as hiring former Syracuse star, Gerry McNamara as their HC. Have no idea how good a coach he is, but on name recognition alone it seems like it would be a good hire. The Siena program is way down and this could bring it back to life. Good for the MAAC if that happens.

Looking like it has happened. 2 Syracuse players entered the portal today.
Wonder if Danny Hurley is going to give props to the NCAA for getting it right, at least when it comes to the BE only getting three teams in the Tourney. Only one makes the Elite Eight, and the two other teams might have been too highly ranked. Let's go Danny.
Watched a lot of BB, yesterday, and much of it Women's BB. Came away with the following conclusion. While Caitlin Clark might be the face of Women's BB, there are dozens of VG to great players, and my hope is that many of you don't miss the opportunity to catch them in action. You'll be glad you did.
Just watched the Iowa-LSU game, with Iowa winning behind another great game by Caitlin Clark, in a game played in Albany. But the Albany C of C can't be happy. TV showed Clark's family in the stands, and supposedly she told them, today, "You guys find something to do in Albany, I'm going to stay in my room and rest." And then the TV announcer, Rebecca Lobo, said, "Find something to do in Albany? Good luck with that."
During UConn game last night, there was a graphic posted briefly. It indicated in the last NCAA tournamnets the Huskies have been behind for only 55 seconds in the 2nd half. It never mentioned the opponent.
