Adam Njie Jr. – 6’3” PG out of Cardinal Hayes in the Bronx. Plays AAU for the Riverside Hawks. Co-Tournament Most Valuable Player at the prestigious Pangos All-West Frosh/Soph Camp for the Top 30 All-Star Game. He is a tough, hardworking PG that can create for himself and his teammates. Can shoot and plays under control...very smooth. He is cousins with Ole Miss and former St Peters guard Jaylen Murray. Adam averaged 18.9 ppg this season. Earned 2nd Team CHSAA Behind Boogie Fland (Kentucky). He showed loyalty by staying at Hayes when his best teammates jumped to Our Savior Lutheran.

"Njie, while a point guard prospect, is much more of a pure scorer from the point guard position. He can create off the dribble at any time in the offense and has the ability to score from anywhere on the floor, with a superb and strong handle of the ball, and a strong driving and finishing ability, combined with excellent body control. Njie has a nice shooting stroke with range, and he can shoot the basketball from the stand-still position on the floor or on the move. He has excellent body control in traffic, and superior physical strength in his upper and lower body, which allows him to overpower opposing guards. “Adam Njie is one of the most underrated players in the class. Njie touches the paint at will, but it was his improved shooting that had me impressed. His shooting form seems much more compact and efficient. If Njie can consistently hit catch and shoot threes, he will draw closeouts and force defenders to play farther up which would make it even easier to get into the paint. He also seemed comfortable getting into pull-up mid-range jumpers after shifting defenders. He has been a good finisher doing a good job absorbing contact and finishing with either hand. Njie has always been a high-volume ball handler and passer (7.04 assists per 40 during EYBL). Big time get right here. Probably the best freshman class in program history. Really interested to see who they go after from here as all these kids should fight for tons of PT. Njie clearly has the ability to be our PG from day 1.
