Big time get right here. Probably the best freshman class in program history. Really interested to see who they go after from here as all these kids should fight for tons of PT. Njie clearly has the ability to be our PG from day 1. I’m sure Gary Springer and Steve Burtt might disagree 😉 Along with Jeff Ruland, alone or with Kevin Vecsey . |

I didn't get a chance to comment on this, looks like a great pick up but makes me sad that we can't expect him to stay for multiple years, nevermind 4 years. Everyone can jump down my throat and stick your heads in the sand and ignore that reality. The new college basketball sucks! This should be a moment in Iona recruiting history that has a half decade of lasting consequences, instead it's a year by year prayer that he remains a Gael. I think this is a great start for Tobin, but not sure how any coach won't get burned out by this after a few years.

Kids that want to stay home, he had plenty of big offers and stayed home. It helps that the nozzle in queens doesn't recruit locally |

Winning will help bring in more recruits even if the turnover is faster than we like. What we cannot do is have another year like this where we were not very good, but also had the drama that went with it. |

Niagara just lost all its starters too. It's not just us. It hurts more now because of the timing of all of this--Pitino leaves/NIL hits/portal blows up all happened in like a 3 year span. Perfect storm, but it's the new world and we'll have to adapt.
