Agree to disagree. Gordon was playing his way into POY talk. He was a cancer that killed the season, and continues to be a cancer. Winborne was recruited over and did what he had to do to preserve a year of eligibility. Add the fact that those that know him from St. Joe's reached out on their own and said he's a good kid with a high character, tells me 2 completely different situations He still quit, not saying he is a bad kid. Not saying the same situation, but you can't say he was in a tough situation and fought threw it he quit. When Cluess had 2 pgs who didn't play much one left AFTER the season and one stayed and you guys called him a quitter. I'm not saying he won't be good for us but facts are facts Like I said, we can agree to disagree. The kid that left (forgot his name) was getting some PT. His problem was more his dad, who I sat near a few games. Thinking he should have gotten some of AJ's minutes. Winborne was blocked from PT. IMO, he made the right decision by leaving early because he saved a year of eligibility. Why would he want to waste a season? |

While, they didn't take my advice, but I was hoping that both Davis and Ayo would leave SJU after the Fall semester when it became obvious that they would get very little PT. Fortunately, for them it doesn't seem that either lost a year of eligibility. Saw that Davis is in the Portal, but have heard nothing about Ayo.
