Zero correlation to Gordon vs the 13 guys on this roster and how they'll turn out.

"As frustrated as we all were with this year and some of the players efforts/attitudes, just imagine how much worse it was for Tobin and his staff. Can't imagine they will allow the next team to have some of the issues the past one did." I wonder what Tobin learned from this year: Managing the roster not being able to retain any players Sticking with the defense when it struggles Adjusting play in the half court game. Lots of standing around, few cuts, not many back doors Off the court drama and how will he adjust going forward Tobin is not without blame for last year. But he's here and they all aren't. Also, just because a player leaves doesn't mean it wasn't a mutual decision or advised by the staff. I believe he learned a lot and will be better off for it going forward.

I haven't heard him trying to be blameless. He's owned his part in multiple post-game pressers. I do give Tobin a mulligan for the environment he inherited... FURP's wake of destruction and the NIL/transfer torrent that is destroying college basketball.

My hat's off to TA for doing as well as he did. RP didn't want his successor to have any semblance of success. If the NCAA continues on it current course it will destroy March Madness and eventually college basketball

If the NCAA continues on it current course it will destroy March Madness and eventually college basketball I have had very little interest in this years March Madness. Probably because there are so few mid majors and underdogs that had much success. I wonder what the ratings will be?

Nice to see the staff adding some height. Solid looking player who hits 3’s and free throws. I like it. Height maybe however no inside presence. New era of basketball however you need a defensive presence after the Gaels gave up layup after layup after the opponent broke the ineffective press

My only concern is his fit in TA's system. I might be stretching a point but he's described as a Stretch Four. We had one last year and he hardly ever played. And while I don't know why TA didn't put him on the court, I think it's fair to raise the question. In his videos he seemed a willing shooter, and his range is impressive. Luke Jungers averaged 17.3 minutes as a freshman, averaging 7 points, and 2.7 boards. Compare that to Wheeze Panzo wo last season played 31.8 minutes and averaged 9.6 points and 2.6 rebounds. His sophomore season he got hurt at the start of the year, that is why he hardly played. Over 40 min their points per game are identical but the rebounding edge goes to Luke. Luke also shot a better percentage 3 ball his freshman season compared the Wheza this season. As long as he is 100% healthy... we got a good piece to the puzzle.

The easy answer would be, of course he does or we wouldn't have recruited him. But, I can't understand why our stretch four didn't play, last year. Time will tell.

Because he was 18 years old and couldn't stop a drop of water with a dry sponge?

Saunders could not defend to save his life. Simple why he never played.

Did not realize that Luke was so thin. On the official Iona site he's listed as 6'9, 175. And this makes him about the tallest AND lighest guy on the team. Bow, I can understand why Guy's guest on his latest podcast indicated that he wasn't sure that Luke can defend in the low post.
