Guy, thanks, but tomorrow night is not good for me. And, not only Iona fans, but MAAC fans in general seem very disinterested in scrimmage results. Is it because of the success/interest in the NY football and baseball teams? Board's been dead in general, no real excitement. Bandwagon will be fuller if the team gets some early wins against a tough schedule.

That's why I threw in the word interest.

Guy, thanks. But, hopefully TA knows something about Winborne. For me, the key is Rupert. If we have him I feel we have enough depth to afford losing the other two, even though we'd miss their experience. Rupert should be fine for Princeton, evwn if he's out for next scrimmage next weekend. Winborne's injury involves a ripped toenail. Not sure of his status for 2nd scrimmage either.

Guy, thanks. Maybe just me, but I couldn't care less about the next scrimmage, as to whether they are able to play. The game on November 4th is another matter.

Since there isn't a Tobin at the Tavern thread, I'm asking about it here. Did any Board members attend, and if so would you mind sharing any info learned, last night?

Most intriguing stat I've gotten from scrimmage: 22 offensive rebounds. Nothing more demoralizing especially late in a game than giving teams extra possessions. Usually it's Iona giving them up.

One comment on these secret scrimmages. Actually two-- if secret how do we post certain stats and two the stats Coach Al is interested in start November 4th!! Competing in practice allows our team to welcome competition come November 4th. Anyway my two cents for what its worth. Hope to see some of you on the 28th Stay well stay safe Go Gaels

Really nothing more than what Guy & Jim Maisano have already uncovered. I was happy to hear that he has never in his life had a cup of coffee.
