Just checked the ESPN site to see if they had a line on the game, and, as of yet, they don't. But with their Gamecast they have a matchup predictor, and I saw something that I don't EVER remember seeing. Using roundups Princeton has a 94% chance of winning and Iona, a 6% chance. They say that's based on ESPN's Analytics. I thought you got a 10% chance just for showing up. When the line comes out, we'll see how much credence Las Vegas gives to the Matchup Predictor. Does anyone remember a number (chance of winning) in single digits? I’m just curious. Will you be speculating on the outcome of this event? You seem Uber interested in gambling lines. I’ve noticed in the past you have mentioned that your daughter assists you with computer needs. Will you be buckling down and making the sojourn to see the Gaels out at Princeton for the opening game or nah? My common sense sense yes, but in the back of my mind I think you’ll be following lives stats on the computer. Whether you’re 54 or 84, get out there and root like crazy!!!!!! Otherwise YOU could be the “horns of Italy”!!!!!!! Cheers! Will you be attending Princeton or nah? |

java, thanks for asking, but my traveling days to away games are in my rear view mirror. I consider it a triumph to be able to drive at night to an Iona home game. Day games are no problem. And my ONLY interest in betting lines is to get an idea on how the game should go, according to the experts. I will be watching the game on ESPN+.
