Glover and Machado looked like they were on a mission. Hope that continues. Really think the 10PM game winner is at a huge disadvantage, especially since Iona starters rested the last 5 minutes. I expect to win tomorrow and than a classic vs Fairfield on Monday. Side note I bought all session passes in November and I am the only Iona fan on the other side. I guess I should have waited. May have to move if we make it to Monday as I'll be among-st a sea of red. Just walk past the usher and come sit with us at the top of 114.

Agree with all that's been said. A few additional notables...
Cluess really seems to have a great chemistry with his players. After chewing out Pelch for not taking a charge in the first half, he almost jumped through the roof coming down with a fist pump after Pelch draws one in the second half.
Our offense played at a much quicker pace when Dwight was on the floor. When he was resting in the first half, Siena did a better job slowing the pace down. When Cluess inserted him, it was like adding a can of high octane. The quicker pace IMO did Siena in as they had no legs in the second half.
Very classy, we-deserved ovation for RR by the Iona fans.
Last but not least, all the staff of the Iona Athletic Department does an outstanding job facilitating the needs of its fans... 20 minutes after the game Liz is sitting in the stands on her laptop asking who needed a ticket for todays game, Will is walking around letting fans know about the Goal Club reception... everyone works extremely hard... no wonder why Pat Lyons looked so attractive to SHU!
This team played like they were on a mission... today the mission continues.

Hope Rider is feeling it a bit when we square off later. Expect a tough one.

Probably much Mitch bashing going on in Loudonville. Two observations about him last night: When he came out before the beginning of the game, he sat on the wrong bench--really. One of his assistants had to come and get him. (He looked confused.) Also, with 3:16 to go in the 1st half, he called his 3rd timeout after a foul, I believe. After we made the foul shot, there was a media timeout. He had one timeout left at the 10:46 mark in the 2nd period.

JMO, but I think that Siena can improve next year if they are able to convince Brookins to turn into a PG. And that means looking for his teammates rather than himself. Scott made that transition, and it's not easy to do. In the first half I got to see Anosike up close and he impressed me, and w/o RR, I think he'll put up pretty good numbers, if he can improve his FT shooting. He's already a VG rebounder and has Mike Ringold quickness around the basket. Wignot is solid and should improve as a Senior, and they have to come up with a couple of new starters. All I'm saying that things aren't all that bleak in Loudenville.
