CollegeInsider.com names Mike as the MAAC's Player of the Year: www.collegeinsider.com/awards/Note that they award both Player of the Year and Most Valuable Player awards. I like that differentiation. While some accept these as the same, I have always felt that these are not necessarily the same. In the MAAC, Needham was named MVP - in other conferences, the same player won both.

I like the idea of giving a POY and and MVP, but I'd think that more often than not it should go to the same player. Nobody was awarded both this year, which suggests that a player can't win both. I think that is stupid. At any rate, I think Rossiter as POY and Glover as MVP would have made more sense.

I sit corrected - I misread the Great West award winners.

I sit corrected - I misread the Great West award winners. Is that the one with 2 Isaiah W's? If so, I did the same thing at first.

After the rout of HS it was clear who the real man was. Earned by great skill and hard work.
